This week, I finished Bret Easton Ellis’s new book The Shards. I particularly enjoyed the music references that characterized almost every scene. The story centers around the lives of high schoolers living in LA in the 80s, a story that cannot be told without music. Thankfully, some awesome people have created a Spotify playlist with every single song mentioned in the book in order of appearance.
